Disney’s Beach Club Resort
Disney’s Beach Club Resort is a New England-style beach-themed resort. It is on Crescent Lake in the EPCOT Resort Area. It shares the large pool area and many amenitities with it’s sister resort - Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. Disney’s Beach Club Resort also has Disney’s Beach Club Villas, which is a Disney Vacation Club Resort. DIsney’s Beach Club Resort opened in 1990. The rooms were renovated in 2009 and again from 2015 to 2016.
Stormalong Bay, centrally located between Disney’s Beach Club Resort and Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, is a 3-acre pool complex with a life-size shipwreck replica, sand-bottom pools, lazy river, waterfall, and one of the highest resort waterslides on Walt Disney World property. It has a poolside bar and grill, shallow area for kids, and an elevated tanning deck. The pool area faces Crescent Lake. There are also ‘quiet pools’ closer to the resort buildings for a relaxed swim or soak in a hot tub.
