2024 Reservations + Dining Plans
2024 Reservations for Walt Disney World opened on May 31.

Walt Disney World 2024 reservations opened on May 31. Along with reservations opening for the year, a few other big announcements came out then too. The most exciting announcement: DINING PLANS ARE COMING BACK! Dining plans will be available for use starting January 9, 2024. They can be added to any 2024 reservation of applicable dates. There are 2 dining plans; Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan and Disney Dining Plan. Your travel planner can help you understand the differences and what plan works best for you and your family.
Another big change for guests in 2024, park reservations! If you purchase your tickets as part of your package (with resort) or through your travel planner you wont need to make park reservations if your visit starts on or after January 9, 2024. Disney calls these date-based tickets. Most tickets Disney sells are date based.
Extended park time will continue in 2024. All Disney Resort Guests will still have early theme park entry. Guests staying at Disney Deluxe Resorts and Deluxe Villas will continue to have extended evening hours at select parks on select nights through 2024.
It was also announced that there may be changes to Genie+ and Lightning Lane in 2024. Disney says they are looking at ways for guests to be able to plan their Genie+ and Lightning Lane selections before the day of their visit. We will announce all the details when we know more so be sure to follow us on Instagram for the most up to date info!
