Star of the Seas
Royal Caribbean’s next Icon Class ship, Star of the Seas, is preparing to set sail from Port Canaveral! The inaugural sailing for Star of the Seas is August 31, 2205. Sailings will be 7-nights to Western or Eastern Caribbean. Every sailing will include a day at Perfect Day at Coco Cay! Let’s look at some of the experiences you could find on the Star of the Seas.
Thrills on the Sea — The Star of the Seas will have the largest waterpark at sea with 6 adrenaline-pumping waterslides. Including mat slides with ride racer challenge and 2 family raft slides. An aerial adventure course, which is part skywalk, part obstacle, part thrill ride. Flowrider, the fan favorite surf simulator. The ultimate rock-climbing wall, and a 9-hole mini golf course.
Chills on the Seas — If you’re looking for chills on the sea, there are options from kids fun to adult relaxation. For adult-only relaxation, check out the suspended infinity pool and in-water bar. Or maybe you’re looking for water spots for the family, look no further than the Splashaway Bay aquapark and pool. Or the largest pool at sea - Royal Bay Pool. And if you’re looking for other options, they have a disappearing edge pool, a secluded infinity pool, and a special pool for Star and Sky suite guests!
Play on the Seas — The Star of the Seas is a ship for the whole family! There’s Surfside Carousel & Playscape with a beach themed carousel and playground plus the aforementioned Splashaway Bay aqua park. The kids club is no joke either, Adventure Ocean has play spaces with wide open play areas and dedicated spaces for all types of interactive activities. The kids won’t want to leave - which means a great break for parents! And don’t think the teens are left out. Social020 is an exclusive lounge for 13-17 year olds. So they have a place for hanging out, gaming, and even an outdoor patio. Including: hidden entrance, gaming lounge, karaoke, movies, plus teen-only experiences all across the ship from silent disco to private FlowRider times.
Wows on the Seas — The Aquadome has an AquaTheater with a water show with divers, waterfalls, and high-tech special effects. An experience unlike anything you’ve seen before! Absolute Zero ice arena offers ice skating and also a stunt-filled skating spectacular for the whole family. The Royal Theater shows broadway shows, original productions, and more! The highlight show will be Back to the Future: The Musical, direct from Broadway!
Dining and Lounging — With all the activities, don’t think the Star of the Seas is shirking on dining options. There are over 20 dining options - 13 complimentary dining options and 13 speciality dining options. Plus 18 Bars & Lounges (including the in-water bar). The dining and drinking options are almost endless for your sailing! Highlights include: Lincoln Park Supper club - a 1930’s Chicago-inspired sophisticated dining experience, Pearl Cafe - a 24 hour cafe with sweeping ocean views and reading nooks to curl up and get lost, AquaDome Market - a food hall with 5 food stands, and Surfside Eatery - a family buffet specifically designed for the picky eaters in the family.
All of this just scratches the surface of what is available on the Star of the Seas.
Room Types vary from inside rooms to the Ultimate Family Townhouse suite - a 2-level suite with slide IN the suite!
